Your article is really inspiring, Andrew!! I am currently a finance major with statistics and data analytics minor at school... I am learning SQL, VBA and Python for finance right now but I eventually want to focus on data analytics and data science positions and be self-taught... I know it will take a bit of time to master a language, so right now I am doing my best to master as much as I can in the next 3 months to get an internship (Financial Data Analyst/Data Analyst positions) and keep building on my skills until I can call myself a Data Scientist.
